Google Calendar is an amazing tool that you can access across multiple platforms and use with ease. It makes it easier to collaborate with people across different locations, schedule events or tasks, or even notify your team that you will not be in office for the day. If there arises a time when you need a hard copy of your Google Calendar, though, you can easily learn how to print Google calendar through the below steps.
Note:
- Google Calendar also allows you to customize font, color, size and orientation when you print it.
- You can print your calendar only on PC or Mac, and not on a mobile device. So if you want to print your Google Calendar, you’d have to access it through a computer.
How to print Google calendar
Step 1: Open the calendar you wish to print on your computer. You can access it through this link, https://calendar.google.com/, and logging in to your account.
Step 2: Set the view you want the calendar to be printed in. Click on the box at the top right of your screen, next to the gear icon, as shown. Google Calendar allows you to print a single day, an entire week, month, year, or even if you want to print your schedule for the next 4 days - it is completely customisable. Select whether you want weekends and declined events to show up or not. Note that you can also select the same in the print preview.
You can also press the following keys to adjust the view:
- Day - D
- Week - W
- Month - M
- Year - Y
- Schedule - A
- 4 days - X
Step 3: Once you’ve decided the view you want to print, the next step would be to print it. To do so, click on the gear icon at the top right of your screen and from the dropdown menu, select ‘Print.’
Step 4: The print preview gives you options to select a print range (date from and to), View (Auto/ Day/ Week), Font size (Smallest to Biggest), Orientation (Portrait/ Landscape), Color & style (Outline/ Full color/ Black and white). It also lets you decide whether you wish to show weekends and declined events. Once you’re happy with the preview, select Print.
Step 5: Your printer’s printing menu will now show up if connected. You can adjust the options as you desire and select ‘Print.’
Step 6: Save Google Calendar to pdf - If you want to save the calendar as a pdf for later reference, after Step 4, when you will be asked for the destination on the pop-up window, choose ‘Save to PDF’ (Windows) or 'PDF-> Save as PDF…' (Mac) and save the file to the desired folder.
