The Remote Weekly goes out every Wednesday and brings to you original content, product tips and latest stories around remote working.
Let me tell you (or rather ask you) about habit-forming products 😼
I have got into this habit of browsing new additions on ProductHunt over the past few months. I also make it a point to drop a line to the makers (on PH or elsewhere) about their product. I wonder (and wish) if people would do the same for remote products or resources . On that note, could you do me a favour and drop a line about one thing or change that would make remote.tools your habit?
Now, today, I saw this nifty dashboard that gives you a bunch of remote work stats from multiple reports. Of course, you can copy the stats and use it elsewhere . Also, makes me think if PH incentivises makers to create such useful tiny projects that people would admire and also find helpful. Case in point - Steph Smith's Femake or Doug Safreno's PH Leaderboard.
Speaking of makers, I went live yesterday with the very first episode of Remote Makers podcast . Vivek is currently building a virtual office for distributed teams and we chatted about his journey, why and what he is building (at) Pragli. I would so love to hear your inputs on this .
Remote Working Chronicles
Alondo or (the) Cocoa Nomad takes us through 10 years of his remote (work) journey through building iOS apps, being a maker, podcaster and of course, a digital nomad. I am sure you will love this one .
As always, here are our top picks (remote-first products) this week:
