You've posted a story on Instagram and have added the stories you want to preserve as Instagram highlights for the future. But the problem is you want to know who has viewed your Instagram highlights.
If you use Instagram for business, knowing who views your Instagram highlights can introduce you to more people who can be your followers (if not already following).
What is "Highlights" on Instagram?
Instagram is one of the best social media platforms. When you add Instagram stories it's visible for 24 hours. However, if you want to save important stories that you don't want to disappear, you can add the stories to Instagram highlights.
Doing this will save you stories forever. Every time people visit your Instagram profile section, they can view your highlights section & see stories from the past.
Highlights immediately save your stories forever. Instagram highlights are like archives for your Instagram stories.
TL;DR & Summary
Instagram is a great place to share your life with friends & family. When you use the platform for business, story archives become one of the most important places for visitors to your profile.
You can add old stories as a highlight and save them as archives for new visitors on your profile forever. You can see who has viewed your Instagram highlights and get in touch with them in case you want to add them as followers.
- You can edit the name of highlights, and add or remove stories.
- You can know who has viewed your Instagram story highlights but only for the first 48 hours of publishing. After 48 hours, the count will not be recorded, but the highlight will stay as is.
- You can add only your original story as a highlight. You can't add someone's story as a highlight.
- You can even choose to show your stories to close friends so other users can't view them.
- You can edit profile to match the highlights you add.
